June 2023 at Flair & Fine Care

Flair & Fine Care Insight

It has been another exciting month at Flair & Fine Care as we head towards Windy Winters. How unbelievable that we are already in the middle of 2023! This is the time to pause and reflect on the improvement prospects to achieve excellence; part of which is the Performance Reviews and Performance Improvement Plans. This gives us a chance to have a one-to-one discussion with all the wonderful team Flair & Fine Care has. This also provides the team with a chance to refresh their knowledge with the training available at Etrainu Library.

Flair & Fine Care joined Etrainu to stay compliant with NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission practice standards. Etrainu, partnered with NDS, creates the Workforce Essential Training, an eLearning Solution that is designed to keep Flair & Fine Care compliant, and our team upskilled.

With a range of Free, online training courses, our team members can access the relevant training, to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of the Disability sector.

Brave, Bold and the Beautiful: Bianca King

Redefining what it means to be a true support for her clients, Bianca is thrilled by her newfound opportunity as a support worker to highlight the empathy and experience that comes with a great addition in the team. She loves supporting people with disability so they “achieve their goals, grow in confidence, and build connections within their communities.” She joined us last year and there is no turning back. For her, “Working with FFC has been a wonderful experience. The team at Flair & Fine Care are incredibly supportive of one another as well as their clients…I am proud to be working for such a wonderful company.”

Community Participation for NDIS Participants

Community Participation for NDIS Participants

Attending community activitie
s can be a great way for NDIS participants to enjoy social and cultural experiences. It is essential to everyone’s daily life, but it can be challenging for those with disabilities. Going to a community event, attending a concert, or watching a movie in the cinema should be an easy, stress-free process. At Flair and Fine Care, we help participants with their community engagement needs in a variety of ways.
