What We Do
- Support adults and children with multiple and complex needs
- Work alongside families, carers, health and government systems to provide care to participants
- Connect NDIS participants with services funded by NDIS plans
- Help participants build their strengths, participate in community activities, become job ready and live a more independent life
- Advocate for participants and help them to understand their NDIS plans and goals
- Assist NDIS participants in carrying out the goals in their NDIS plans
Where We Work
As a support worker, you will work with people in their own homes, in residential facilities and throughout the community. Flair & Fine Care provides services throughout the greater Melbourne area.
Prerequisites
- An appropriate certificate relevant to the work required to be performed
- Skills, knowledge, experience, qualification and/or training
- Basic skills in oral and written communication with clients and other members of the public
- Knowledge of established work practices and procedures relevant to the workplace
- Knowledge of policies, relating to the workplace
- Application of techniques relevant to the workplace
- Developing knowledge of statutory requirements relevant to the workplace
- Understanding of basic computing concepts.
- Common-sense to do the right thing
- Complete the in-app notes after every shift
